Serdar Paksoy is the founding and senior partner of the firm. He has been actively advising foreign investors in their transactions and disputes work in Türkiye and abroad. Mr Paksoy's practice focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, white collar crimes, investigations and dispute resolution. He extensively advises clients on matters involving cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, investigations, litigation and arbitration across a wide range of sectors. Mr Paksoy is the head of Paksoy’s dispute resolution practice. He has extensive experience as an advocate in courts and arbitral tribunals including commercial litigation, administrative lawsuits, investigations, white collar crimes and securities litigation. He has acted for parties relating to shareholder conflicts, construction law, internal controls, contractual conflicts, product liability, tax litigation, insolvency and concessionary disputes. He has represented investors and sovereigns in international arbitrations before various arbitral institutions including the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, ITOTAM, ISTAC, or Istanbul Arbitration Center, TOBB, or The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye Arbitration Center, ICC and ICSID. Mr Paksoy is a listed arbitrator from Türkiye for the International Arbitral Centre of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. He is a member of the Russian Arbitration Association. He is also a listed arbitrator of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Center. He is the country chair and representative of Dispute Resolution International, the Voice of the Defense Bar in Türkiye.
