Matthew Lane practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate, private equity investments, and other general business transactions. Matt represents developers and sponsors in the structuring of real estate investment funds in various asset classes, including investment in opportunity zone funds and businesses. He regularly represents clients in complex sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions across Matt’s sports law practice has focused on the representation of athletes in the negotiation of endorsement contracts, athlete agent agreements, and other commercial rights. In addition, he represents tax-exempt amateur athletic organizations. Matt has worked as a USA Track and Field authorized athlete agent and manager for many professional track and field athletes.
