Michael Taylor has a thriving capital markets practice and is focused on representing Canadian public companies that are listed in both Canada and the United States. Michael is qualified in both British Columbia and Nevada and has extensive experience helping Canadian public companies navigate United States securities laws as they expand their public listings and financings into the United States. Michael has over 25 year of experience advising clients on all stages of the “going public” process, from corporate organization through to listing and public trading. In addition to assisting clients with stock exchange listings in both Canada and the United States, he is experienced in the completion of complex cross-border mergers, acquisitions and joint venture transactions. He also counsels clients on the completion of cross-border public offerings qualified by Canadian prospectus and US Securities and Exchange Commission registration statements. He assists issuers with ongoing continuous disclosure obligations and corporate governance requirements in both Canada and the United States.
