Stephan Schneller’s area of expertise covers the full spectrum of intellectual property protection (national and international), including trademarks, patents and utility models, industrial designs, competition law, advertising of medical and pharmaceutical products, and contract law, in particular licensing, cooperation and know-how contracts. Where the situation requires it Stephan devises solution strategies in cases where IP rights are not (or no longer) available, as well as preparing strategies at the interface between trademarks, design, copyright and competition law. Stephan specializes in preliminary injunction and related opposition proceedings as well as main actions, also in cancellation or nullity actions, all before the civil courts and Offices. His clients include national and international corporations, start-ups and sole traders from sectors as varied as home furnishings, toys, clothing, household goods, kitchens, cosmetics, gastronomy/food as well as measuring technologies, medical devices, pharma, software products, software as a service (SaaS), to mention just a few. Stephan also gives regular talks to companies and lectures at the Entrepreneurship Center of Munich’s Ludwig Maximilian University.
