Michael Maddin founder and shareholder, serves as president emeritus and executive committee member. He has been practicing law for over 50 years, primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate and business, estate planning, and probate law. Michael’s accomplishments extend from local to national matters, including many unique transactions deemed “not possible” or “too difficult.” Colleagues recognize his ability to focus, develop consensus and negotiate, as well as his efficiency in completing projects. He is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and member of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. For many years, he served as chairman of the Commercial Leasing and Management Committee of the Real Property Law Section as well as council coordinator of the Real Property Council of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a member of the American Bar Association and a sustaining member of the Oakland County Bar Association. The board of directors of the American Bar Foundation (ABF) and Fellows Officers elected Michael as a life fellow of the American Bar Foundation in recognition of his exemplary dedication to the legal profession, commitment to the work of the American Bar Foundation, and support for the organization’s ideals and objectives. Since 2003, his peers have continually selected Michael for inclusion in the annual edition of Best Lawyers in America for his work in real estate law. DBusiness Magazine listed him as a top lawyer, and he has been recognized as a Michigan Leading Lawyer. Michael has been named among the top 100 Michigan Super Lawyers and has been awarded special recognition by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. He also has been recognized as a 2017 Leader in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Marquis Who’s Who listed Michael as an expert in his field. Michael has been president or chairman of many civic, charitable, and fraternal organizations, and major groups.
