Michael Scott, partner, is a member of the Corporate Practice Group in our Luxembourg office and co-heads the Luxembourg Restructuring Team. He focuses on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions and distressed debt restructurings. He mainly advises US and UK based clients investing through Luxembourg to European or other target jurisdictions. Michael is a partner specialising in private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions and distressed debt restructurings. His practice has a particular focus on US and UK based clients (private equity firms and multinationals). Michael is dual qualified in both England & Wales (Solicitor) and Luxembourg (Avocat à la Cour). Michael lectured at the University of Trier, Germany for six years in the Foreign Law Faculty and continues to be involved in both the University and our firm's education programmes.
