Bio

Eric Weiner is a partner in Lowenstein Sandler’s Tech Group and the Co-Chair of Lowenstein Crypto. He provides strategic counsel to startup and emerging growth companies across all industries and stages, and to the angel, venture, and growth equity funds that invest in them. Eric represents businesses spanning a wide variety of industries at every phase of their life cycle, from formation to exit and all the stages in between. For over 15 years, he has advised startup companies and venture capital funds on all kinds of transactions, from early stage financings through pre-IPO funding rounds; mergers and acquisitions; and a wide variety of related deals. Over the last few years, Eric has developed a focus on the crypto market, its founders, and investors: he has advised clients on token rights related to these financings, including negotiations of, and guidance related to, token warrants, token rights agreements, and similar instruments. Eric is a true partner to his clients and is their “go to” resource on the critical legal and strategic matters facing their businesses. He relishes the long term, trust-based friendships he has formed with them, and takes pride in partnering with his clients on all matters related to their business, from the most simple and small to the most complex and material. Eric represents clients across the startup ecosystem, including many in the CPG, technology and crypto spaces. Some of his notable representations include theSkimm, Brooklinen, Starface, Vacation, Julie Products, LayerZero Labs, Therapymatch d/b/a Headway, Curie Bio, mParticle, Omsom, Comet ML, Tribute Labs, Floor NFTs, 6th Man Ventures, Anchorage Capital and Hyde Park Venture Partners, to name a few.
