Owen has led two of the firm’s corporate M&A groups in London for six years and was co-head of Linklaters’ energy sector for seven years. He has played a leading role in the development of the firm’s practice in this sector. Owen was based in our Moscow office from 1995 to 1998. He is currently Chair of the Partnership Board’s Corporate Responsibility Committee and is the firm’s Global Pro Bono Partner. Owen has a multi-specialist practice including corporate finance, public and private M&A, joint ventures, demergers, regulatory investigations and corporate governance. Owen manages the firm’s relationship with a number of clients, including BP, Glencore, INEOS, Centrica, Petrofac, Britvic, Mitie Group, BAE Systems and Genel Energy. He has strong relationships with his clients at board and ExCom levels and is named as one of Linklaters’ leading corporate practitioners in Chambers Global Guide.
