Dirk advises on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate law, with a particular focus on public takeovers, both in Germany and internationally. He counsels clients on corporate advisory issues, including integration and re-organisation measures, shareholders’ meetings, complex governance matters and the Market Abuse Regulation. In addition, Dirk has advised a number of financial institutions and corporates in the context of administrative fine proceedings initiated by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in connection with violations of capital markets law. Dirk has previously worked in the firm’s offices in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and London.
