Yong Joon Yoon is a partner in the Corporate Group. He is an expert in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Governance, Foreign Investment, Cross-border & Overseas Investment, Corporate & M&A Litigation. He has represented a large number of domestic and foreign companies in various M&A transactions and disputes and has earned a reputation as a brilliant negotiator and strategist in deal structuring. Recently, Mr. Yoon has successfully led various major M&A transactions including Woori Financial Group’s acquisition of Daol Investment, Global Sae-A’s acquisition of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction from the Investment Corporation of Dubai, Jungheung Group’s acquisition of shares in Daewoo Engineering & Construction, Mirae Asset Financial Group’s sale of Mirae Asset Fund Service Co., Ltd., IMM Private Equity's sale of W Concept Korea, Hana Financial Investment and Hahn & Company's acquisition of H-Line Shipping, IMM Private Equity's acquisition of Linde Korea, Sae-A Trading's acquisition of Tailim Packaging, Posco Energy's sale of Pospower, joint venture between Samsung Active Asset Management and Franklin Templeton Investment Trust Management, KB Securities' sale of Hyundai Asset Management, Hyundai Marine's sale of Hyundai Securities to KB, KDB's sale of Daewoo Securities to Mirae Asset, acquisition of Samsung Techwin and Samsung General Chemicals (a mega-transaction between Samsung and Hanwha group), Woori Financial Holdings' acquisition of Kumho Investment Bank, Macquarie Group's acquisition of ING Asset Management, privatization of Woori Financial Holdings (especially sale of 6 subsidiaries including Woori Investment & Securities), sale of Himart, and the investment to Emerson Pacific by China Minsheng Jiaye Investment.
