Lindsey Day is co-chair of Lathrop GPM’s Closely Held and Family Business team. She focuses her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, general business law, corporate governance, closely held and family owned businesses, and emerging companies. She regularly counsels both buyers and sellers in stock and asset transactions and has extensive experience advising businesses on legal issues such as contract negotiation, strategic transactions, corporate restructurings, ownership transitions, and women-owned business certifications. She serves clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, professional services, and technology. Lindsey is a committee member of the firm’s Women’s Initiative Network and an attorney volunteer with Wills for Heroes, a Minnesota State Bar Association program that provides estate planning services for Minnesota’s first responders. Prior to practicing law, she worked in tax services at a Big Four public accounting firm.
