Bio

Wonsuk Kang is a partner in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. He serves as the Chair of the firm's Korea Practice. Mr. Kang has more than a decade of experience working across corporate, banking, and capital markets transactions in Asia. He has worked on a number of sector-defining South Korea transactions, including multibillion-dollar acquisitions and joint ventures in the technology and financial services sectors. Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Kang worked in the Hong Kong and Seoul offices of a leading international law firm. In addition, Mr. Kang was a professor at the distinguished Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University.
