Amy is a partner and joint head of our team and has specialised in private client work throughout her legal career. She attended university in Bristol where she completed her law degree and the Legal Practice Course. Amy went on to complete her training contract and qualified as a solicitor in 2002 with Nottingham based law firm Rothera Dowson. She joined the Lincoln private client team at Langleys in 2014 and advises on all aspects of private client work with a particular emphasis on Wills, Probate, Inheritance Tax planning, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Her key tasks involve complex will drafting, advice regarding Lasting Powers of Attorney for property and financial affairs and health and welfare, dealing with estate administration and probate applications including Inheritance Tax returns and dealing with trust matters. Amy specialises in complex estate and trust matters and often deals with high net worth individuals and landed estates including Inheritance Tax reviews and succession planning. Amy notes her key strengths as being approachable, thorough and having the ability to communicate complex, technical matters in a clear and concise way.
