Bio

Brad Schoenfeld represents start-ups to large public companies in a wide variety of complex commercial transactions and related matters. His clients include pharmaceutical and medical device companies, software vendors, hardware manufacturers, professional services organizations, telecommunications companies, consumer packaged goods companies, and a wide variety of e-commerce and Internet-related businesses. Brad specializes in structuring, drafting, and negotiating diverse commercial contracts related to clinical trials, manufacturing and supply, product sales and distribution, research and development, technology licenses and transfers, reseller and distributor relationships, consulting and professional services, procurement, outsourcing, hosting, e-commerce, partnering, and real estate leases. For many of his clients, Brad serves as their outside “general” counsel and is their “go to” lawyer for day-to-day legal advice. Brad has been a featured presenter at the Rocky Mountain Intellectual Property Institute and has been recognized by his peers as a Super Lawyer®. Prior to joining KO, he spent more than six years as in-house legal counsel for General Electric Company (GE) and Siemens Corporation. While at GE, Brad served as general counsel for a $1 billion division of GE Energy. Prior to his in-house roles, he was an associate with Troutman Sanders in Atlanta, Georgia. Brad graduated, with honors, from Duke Law School where he was a Senior Editor of the Alaska Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management, with distinction, from Cornell University.
