Wang Zhixiong began his legal career in February 1983 as a legal trainee and lawyer at the Legal Advisor’s Office in Dongcheng District, Beijing, where he was mainly engaged in civil and economic litigation as well as legal advisory services. In October 1985, he moved to practice in C & C Law Firm, where he was mainly engaged in legal services relating to foreign business, investment, securities, and finance. After 3 and a half years there, he left in May 1989 to further his legal studies in England and Hong Kong. On completion of his further studies, he joined the Commerce & Finance Law Offices (Beijing) in April 1996 as a partner for 6 years before joining JunHe Law Firm (Beijing) as a partner in March 2002. Mr. Wang specializes in legal issues relating to capital markets, foreign investment, and corporate and M&A. Over his 30 years of legal practice, Mr. Wang has accumulated rich practical experience in these practice areas and has facilitated numerous influential joint ventures, M&A projects, and financing projects both at home and abroad. Mr. Wang started engaging in legal services for securities businesses in 1992 and in 1993, obtained the first batch of qualifications for the provision of these services on joint approval by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Justice. Since then, he has provided legal services as a corporate lawyer and underwriter for nearly a hundred enterprises in stock reforms, stock issuances and public offerings. Mr. Wang Zhixiong also used to be a member of the 9th Examination Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and is now a member of the Securities and Finance Committee of the All China Lawyers' Association, serving as a member of its internal examination committee in several well-known domestic securities companies.
