Bio

Ni Tianling (Carey Nee) is specialized in environmental, health and safety (EHS) laws. She has rendered EHS related legal services to a broad range of clients in the chemical, material, medical, aircraft, automobile, semi-conductor, engineering technology, testing, food and consumption industries, including EHS legal due diligence in M&A projects, EHS compliance review, coordination of environmental influence appraisals or safety appraisals for construction projects by third-party institutions and permit handling in the transition periods of M&A projects. She is experienced in EHS compliance advisory services in incorporation, daily operation and closure of manufacturing enterprises and laboratories (in particular, new chemical substance management, VOCs control, pollutant discharge, solid waste and hazardous waste disposal). She has advised on regulatory requirements with regard to remedial action for soil and/or underground water contamination, governmental environmental investigations, legal risk assessment and crisis management of environmental pollution and/or safety incidents, and she also provides EHS legal training and new legislation tracking services. Ms. Nee has rendered legal services to numerous leading multinational companies in their investments, M&A projects and daily operations in China. She has represented clients in structuring, due diligence investigation, transaction documentation drafting, negotiation and closing for many of their joint venture, M&A, PE and VC projects. Ms. Nee joined JunHe in 2010 and is based in the Shanghai office. Ms. Nee worked in the M&A team with A&L Goodbody (Dublin headquarters) for JunHe’s exchange program in 2017.
