Stephen Luo is a Partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng LLP. He received a Master of Law Degree from Renmin University of China and a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Hong Kong. After obtaining the legal qualification in Hong Kong, Stephen had also obtained the National Legal Qualification of the PRC. Stephen has been practicing in the Hong Kong capital markets for over 10 years. Prior to joining the firm as a partner, Stephen worked in an international law firm. Stephen specializes in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions. Stephen’s recent representative deals included: Helens International Holdings Company Limited; Desun Real Estate Investment Services Group Co., Ltd.; Readboy Education Holding Company Limited; Xuan Wu Cloud Technology Holdings Limited; KRP Development Holdings Limited and Runhua Living Service Group Holdings Limited. Stephen also acts as legal advisor to a number of listed companies in Hong Kong, including Shandong Gold Mining Company Limited, Central China Securities Company Limited, Longfor Group Holdings Limited and China Resources Medical Holdings Company Limited. Stephen has been awarded the ALB Hong Kong Rising Star 2023 by the Asian Legal Business and the Rising Stars 2023 by the China Business Law Journal. Stephen was also involved in representing AviChina Industry & Technology Company Limited during the share swap transaction of its subsidiary AVIC Avionics Systems Company Limited, which was exchanged for AVIC Electromechanical Systems Company Limited. This specific deal was awarded the "Deal of the Year 2022" title by the China Business Law Journal.
