Kz Kuriyan specialises in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, banking & finance, strategic joint ventures, domestic and cross border investments & acquisitions in unlisted companies, business structuring / restructuring, employment and general corporate commercial work. Kuriyan focuses on real estate, software and services sectors, and has extensive experience in foreign direct investments, joint ventures and setting up of business operations in India across various industry sectors. Kuriyan also regularly advises clients on structuring transactions, entry and exit strategies, foreign direct investments and exchange control laws, Companies Act, 2013, employment, information technology, data privacy and consumer laws and strategies for establishing and operating businesses in India. Kuriyan has been practising law since 2011 and has been with JSA since graduating from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, in 2011.
