Michael Silver is among the firm's most experienced and accomplished corporate lawyers. In over 40 years of practice, Michael has handled everything from initial public offerings (IPOs) to large-scale public mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for clients in many industries. Currently Michael advises on M&A, capital markets, and corporate governance for clients in the life sciences; manufacturing; technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT); and business services areas, but he has extensive experience in the insurance industry as well. He has adapted his skills and approach to practice as the legal landscape has evolved, while maintaining a consistent focus on outstanding and timely client service. Michael is also a leader in the firm. He was elected in consecutive terms on the Global Board of Hogan Lovells, and for many years he led its New York Corporate Practice Group. Michael has been consistently ranked in the highest tiers of corporate lawyers in every year of publication of Chambers' guides to U.S. lawyers, and in other major legal directories.
