Dr. Knigge has been at the Firm's Munich office since 1996 working mainly in corporate law, particularly the law governing limited liability companies. Her main practice areas include advising private limited liability companies (GmbHs) and stock corporations (Aktiengesellschaften) as well as their directors or executive board members and supervisory board members on company law, particularly on the holding of (public) general meetings, capital measures, restructurings and on the introduction of employee share option plans, advising on the implementation of mezzanine financing (issue of profit participation rights, convertible bonds etc.), advising on venture capital transactions and company acquisitions, advising on setting up legally sound corporate organizations as well as advising on questions of general civil law including litigation.
