Michael Boyce is known for strategically leveraging his technical ability in conjunction with his negotiation skills to deliver successful outcomes for his clients. His commercial acumen, determination and highly valued skillset make him a trusted advisor to his clients and colleagues. Michael is a corporate lawyer specialising in mining, petroleum and natural resources law. He has extensive experience advising clients on matters relating to acquisitions and divestments, project development, joint venture structuring, offtake agreements including gas sale and transportation agreements, mineral rights sharing agreements, royalty agreements, construction and procurement contracts. Michael’s clients include both publicly listed and private companies that operate throughout the full project cycle including exploration, development and production. Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Michael worked at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, Bellanhouse and Herbert Smith Freehills.
