Brent Delaney is known for leveraging his direct investment experience to connect clients to others within his network to grow their businesses and to provide deal pipeline. By nature, he is very deal focused and he also has a wealth of venture and technology experience – being an M&A lawyer allows him to play to these strengths. Brent is an experienced M&A lawyer that has a broad corporate finance practice with a strong focus on cross-border transactions. Brent specialises in public and private M&A, private equity transactions, venture capital investments and fund structuring and distressed M&A. Brent has worked across a range of industry sectors, including resources and mining services, agribusiness, technology, retail, FMCG and professional services. Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Brent worked for firms including K&L Gates and Ashurst. He also gained practical business and investment experience working at CSIRO in the VC / tech investment team and was also the corporate development manager of a Singapore based technology company.
