Ryan Enchelmayer works with innovative life sciences and other technology-driven companies to research and develop, protect, manufacture, license and deploy their ideas, programs, products and services. His practice focuses primarily on advising, structuring and negotiating technology, life sciences and commercial transactions. Ryan has extensive experience in strategic, commercial, development, licensing and related transactions through a broad range of domestic and international deals, including complex M&A, investments, collaborations, manufacturing and supply arrangements, services, financings and other IP-focused transactions and relationships. He represents public and private companies, founders, investors, buyers, sellers and other interest holders in a variety of industries and stages, and regularly counsels them on the protection, sharing and enforcement of their important technologies and IP rights. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Ryan was an attorney in the IP Transactions and Licensing practice of Paul Hastings LLP, where he also focused on technology and commercial transactions, in addition to advising clients on trademark strategies and prosecution matters, licensing and settlements in connection with the resolution of IP-related disputes, and coordinated pro bono initiatives for the San Diego office.
