Nicholas Harley specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles, working with founders and companies from formation through scale to exit, advising on venture capital financings and strategic transactions and counseling on corporate governance and securities law matters. Nick also works closely with leading venture capital funds in their investments in the US and internationally. His investor clients include some of the most prominent funds on both coasts and in the Midwest, in transactions ranging from seed through pre-IPO stage. Prior to co-founding Gunderson’s Midwest office, Nick practiced in our Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices. Before joining Gunderson, Nick was executive at an online investments start-up, helping navigate the company through financings and an exit transaction. Before that, Nick was a corporate lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York and at Morrison and Foerster in San Francisco.
