Bio

Molly Mrowka is a Partner in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees, and is a member of the Tort & Product Liability practice group, with experience in commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and appeals. Ms. Mrowka predominately handles multi-district federal litigation and California state complex tort and contract litigation matters. Her experience encompasses defending manufacturers and distributors of products, which have ranged from herbal supplements to silica. She has successfully defended a Fortune 1000/NASDAQ company from a variety of product and premises claims, and successfully defended local government entities from 42 U.S.C. §1983 claims. Of note, Ms. Mrowka represented a German chemical company in landmark complex litigation involving the microelectronics industry, which was commonly referred to as,"the ‘clean room’ chemical litigation.” In re San Jose IBM Litigation, Case No. I-98-CV-772093 (Santa Clara Sup. Court). Ms. Mrowka also defended corporate defendants in In re Asbestos Products Liability Litigation (No. IV), Eastern District of Pennsylvania, MDL No. 875, and In re High Quality Printing Inventions, LLC ('070) Patent Litigation, MDL No. 2690. Ms. Mrowka is a nationally competitive equestrian who competes year-round on the United States Hunter Jumper Association “A” Circuit. In 2018 and 2019, her numerous wins garnered her trips to compete at the AON/USHJA National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is the recipient of USHJA Horse of the Year awards, including USHJA Zone 10 Horse of the Year Championship honors at the Menlo Charity Horse Show, a United States Equestrian Federation Heritage Show benefitting the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. In 2019, she celebrated a top 5 placing at the USHJA National Hunter Derby at the USEF/USHJA Oregon High Desert Classic benefitting J Bar J Youth Services (a non-profit organization), in Bend, Oregon.
