Linh T. Hua is a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group and Chair of the Employment Class Action Practice Group in the Los Angeles office. She represents employers and management in all aspects of state and federal employment litigation. Ms. Hua specializes in wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions. She resolves cases in class and individual arbitration. She has also served as second chair in a wage and hour class action jury trial in Santa Clara County. Ms. Hua’s employment practice also includes successfully defending businesses against claims of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and harassment. Ms. Hua regularly advises and counsels small businesses and large corporations on compliance with state and federal laws. Her practice includes advising clients in human resources and personnel matters, management training, employee discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, employment and severance agreements, company policies, and employee handbooks. She assists businesses in various industries, including: retail, hospitality, food services, construction, security services, entertainment, tech startups, education, staffing services, and healthcare. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Hua was a partner at a Los Angeles firm that aggressively litigated wage and hour class actions and individual wrongful termination claims in state and federal courts.
