I. Hooshie Broomand is a Partner in the Sacramento office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Mr. Broomand began his career in Los Angeles in a trial boutique firm handling multiple trials and arbitrations. He eventually accepted a position with a large national law firm acting as its general civil litigator in its Sacramento office. Mr. Broomand’s clients over the years range from individuals to Fortune 200 companies. His practice includes general civil litigation with a background in product defects, business claims/contractual disputes, real estate, construction, employment, high end personal injury claims and public entity litigation, where he represents numerous school districts throughout Northern California. From 2009-2013, Mr. Broomand received the honor of being nominated by his peers as a Super Lawyer-Rising Star, which is only bestowed on 2.5% of California’s lawyers. Recognized for his achievements as a lawyer, in 2018 Mr. Broomand was named among America's Top 100 Civil Defense Litigators®, a distinction given to less than one-half percent (0.5%) of active attorneys in the United States.
