Juergen Van Kann advises clients on international mergers and acquisitions, corporate law (including takeovers), private equity transactions, complex real estate transactions and international arbitration. Clients also seek Juergen’s counsel in relation to European data protection law. Juergen is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Law and Finance at the University of Frankfurt, as well as a specialist (Fachanwalt) for commercial and corporate law and for tax law. He established our Frankfurt office in 2004. A trusted voice in the industry, Juergen has published extensively in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and corporate governance. He is the editor of the handbooks Real Estate Transactions (ESV, 3rd edition, 2022), Management boards of stock corporations (ESV, 3rd edition, 2021), and Mergers & Acquisitions (Schäffer-Poeschel, 2nd edition, 2017).
