Christian Kleeberg represents investors in corporate mergers and acquisitions transactions. Clients benefit from Christian’s 20 years of experience with private equity funds, international corporates, and family- or individually-owned companies, whom he advises in their sale to or acquisition from private equity and other investors, both cross-border and domestically. Christian has provided counsel on transactions including early-stage strategic and corporate advice, post-mergers and acquisitions restructurings and disputes, and—where required by our clients—post-mergers and acquisitions litigation. He represents private equity investors and other financial or individual investors, as well as strategic investors in auction processes run by private equity sponsors or other owners. Clients turn to him for his expertise in restructurings and strategic minority investments in Germany and across Europe. Christian and our Frankfurt mergers and acquisitions team are consistently recognized in JUVE, the market-leading review of German commercial law firms. WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo), which is part of the Handelsblatt Media Group and a leading German business publication, named Christian as one of Germany’s “Most Renowned Corporate Lawyers” and “Most Renowned M&A Lawyers” of 2021 and 2022, with Fried Frank also featured as a “Top Law Firm” for both corporate law and M&A. Christian is a lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, advising on mergers and acquisitions. Before joining our firm, he was a partner at a leading international law firm.
