Bio

Greg Lunt is a Registered Patent Attorney with a focus on patent preparation and prosecution, specifically in the fields of software, computing and electrical devices. With over a decade of patent-related experience he has assisted clients in strategic patent planning, IP portfolio valuation, infringement opinions, licensing and appeals. He has worked with all sizes of companies, from Fortune 100 companies, to startup and early-stage companies. Some of his clients have appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank. Prior to law school, Greg worked as a Software Engineer at Novell, Inc. His duties at Novell included developing and testing software for application provisioning and database management. During law school, Greg clerked at Oliff & Berridge in Washington DC, and was an officer in the school’s Student Intellectual Property Law Association (SIPLA). For the past several years, he has been a recurring guest lecturer at local universities, providing insights to young engineers regarding intellectual property law and potential career options. On the side, he has worked as an IP consultant with a New York City-based startup incubator, advising young companies on how to best protect their intellectual property. He currently focuses his practice on assisting organizations strategically grow and develop their national and international patent portfolios.
