Partner of ECIJA Corporate, M&A, Commercial and Litigation practices. Maite Mascaró has vast experience in several practice areas, including the internationalization of Spanish companies, corporate and business law, distribution & franchising and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, she focuses on litigation matters related to distribution and franchising conflicts, and has worked in a wide range of cases before the national and European Union competition authorities. Maite received a Law Degree from Barcelona University in 1983. She then proceeded to do her postgraduate studies in Economics and Competition Law at CEE. She also obtained a Master´s Degree in European law I and II from the European Studies Institute, and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). She is the Treasurer and honorary national vice-president of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). She is a member of CODIR, the GESICA Steering Committee, and representative of the International Section. Maite speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French.
