José Ignacio is a partner in the Litigation, Commercial and Banking Law practice areas of ECIJA and founder of Azpitarte (currently integrated in ECIJA). He has more than 40 years of experience in practice areas and is recognized for having been in charge of the Legal Department of the expropriation of the Aznalcóllar Mining Complex, as well as the Legal Department of the expropriation of the Valencia – Alicante Highway, among others. He has been legal counsel of Banesto and head of the Regional Delegation of his legal services in Valencia. He is a regular professor of Commercial, Litigation and Banking Law in different universities, and author of several articles and publications in specialized press and editorials of the legal sector.
