John Cusack is the Global Co-Chairman of DLA Piper's Finance Group. He has practiced in the area of corporate and finance law for over 30 years. His practice is focused upon the structuring and formation of private investment vehicles and their management companies. He has extensive experience representing sponsors of private equity funds in a host of their internal and external matters. He also represents such firms in a variety of their corporate transactions, including capital markets transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He also actively represents his clients in the formation of portfolio and other operating companies, as well as joint ventures, co-investments and other structured investment activities. Mr. Cusack also represents fund clients in their underlying investment and financing activities. His clients cover a wide range of sectors, including real estate, debt, infrastructure, buy-out, energy and growth opportunities.
