Jean Tanaka is a founding partner of the firm and has spent her entire career practicing transactional entertainment law. As a founder, she has been instrumental in shaping the culture of the firm and its core belief that a diverse and inclusive workplace, coupled with providing top quality legal services, makes for the best possible representation. Jean’s clients include writers, showrunners, producers, directors, on-camera talent and production companies for both scripted and unscripted television, film, video games and new media. For more than 30 years, Jean has assisted clients by emphasizing a collaborative approach in which she, the client and other representatives are partners in the strategic planning of and the achievement of her client’s career goals.
