Bio

Frances Belzer Wilson is a Member with Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC. She concentrates her practice in civil and probate litigation, focusing in the areas of banking, creditor’s rights, and commercial and real estate litigation. Her litigation experience includes a broad spectrum of areas including real estate issues, business disputes, commercial landlord tenant matters, representing clients in bankruptcy matters including adversary proceedings, and representing clients in collection matters. Frances also has experience in estate planning, guardianship/conservatorship matters, estate and trust administration, and business transactions. Frances routinely advises clients on a variety of issues including banking, creditor rights, probate issues, bankruptcy, and insolvency-related matters as well as non-bankruptcy matters involving commercial litigation, collections, and appellate work. She also has extensive experience in representing clients in all stages of commercial real estate workouts and foreclosures, including judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, receiverships, note sales, loan modification and forbearance. Frances earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 2005 and earned her B.A. in 2002 from Albion College, majoring in Political Science, with a concentration in Public Policy and Service. While in law school, she held an internship with the 6th Circuit Court of Michigan. She is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Arizona, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and Western District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. She is also a member of the Metropolitan Detroit Alumni Senate of Delta Theta Phi International Fraternity.
