Matthew Pecoy is a Partner in DarrowEverett’s Corporate and Business Transactions Practice Group, focusing primarily on middle-market mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and general corporate matters. Through his practice, Matt represents a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from accredited investors to growth-stage companies and from start-ups to medium-sized, privately-held businesses. His counsel includes corporate formation and structuring, capital raises and private placements, employment and securities law issues, and complex commercial contract negotiation. Matt also serves as outside general counsel to several companies across multiple industries and has litigated a wide variety of commercial disputes before federal and state courts as well as the South Carolina Supreme Court.
