Maheshwari Sundaresh transactional experience extends to inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions, foreign and domestic private equity and venture capital investments, open offer transactions, buybacks, business transfers, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. She also has extensive experience advising on general corporate matters and securities market laws. She has also been involved in a number of multijurisdictional investments and acquisitions, where the firm has played a turnkey role for the client. In the private equity and venture capital fields, Maheshwari has been involved in a wide range of transactions, including early-stage to mid-stage investments, PIPE transactions and exits from investments, and has advised both investee companies as well as funds. She has worked with the Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association on multiple occasions on regulatory and policy matters having industry wide impact. She has also advised prominent business houses in India on the restructuring of their Indian and overseas assets, and has advised established businesses as well as mid-stage companies and start-ups on fund-raising initiatives and general corporate matters, including regulatory and statutory compliances for listed and unlisted companies.
