Víctor Xercavins has advised leading hotel chains and tour operators in Europe and the United States of America, and relevant financial institutions in the framework of the restructuring of the Spanish financial sector. He regulary advices PEQ funds. During his time as managing director of the Cuatrecasas office in New York he acquired in-depth knowledge of the most important aspects of the common law legal system, having participated in many crossborder transactions. He is co-head of the International Corporate Transactions Group of the World Law Group and secretary of the boards of directors of several national and international companies. He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Fòrum Social i Empresarial del Consell Social of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a foreign legal consultant in the state of New York. He has lectured at prestigious business schools, at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), the Barcelona Bar Association, and at several universities in the USA. He speaks regularly at forums (e.g., APD and Mergermarket) and publishes articles of opinion in the Spanish press.
