Victoria Collado is a litigator at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella who defends banks and finance companies in class actions across the country and in individual actions in Illinois. Her experience includes defending claims involving mortgage loans, lines of credit, bank accounts, electronic fund transfers, and auto financing. She has litigated cases under all of the federal consumer laws, including TILA, RESPA, FCRA, FACTA, FDCPA, TCPA, and EFTA, as well as state law claims for breach of contract, misrepresentation, statutory consumer fraud, and claims under the UCC. She also advises on regulatory compliance and internal investigations. In addition, Ms. Collado has represented organizations involved in commercial disputes, arbitrations, and internal investigations in international contexts. Ms. Collado practiced at Mayer Brown in Chicago prior to joining Burke, Warren in 2009. She is fluent in Spanish.
