His practice focuses on Corporate and Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking, Finance and Securities, Regulated Markets and Telecommunications. Mr. Bofill received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. He previously worked at Jorge Bofill Vergara (1983-1987), the Chilean Army (1985-1987) and the firms Magasich & Cía. (1987-1990), Slaughter & May, London (1994), Allgemeines Treuunternehmen, Liechtenstein (1994) and Grasty Quintana Majlis & Cía. (1990 -2006). Member of the Panel of Arbitration and Mediation Center of Santiago’s Chambers of Commerce since 2009 and also Member of the Panel of Arbitration of Concessions Agreements of the Ministry of Public Works since 2010. Mr. Bofill is co-author of the Chilean chapter of “The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Securitisation” (2013, 2014 and 2015), published by Global Legal Group Ltd., London (www.iclg.co.uk). Mr. Bofill is a Professor of Corporate Law, Universidad de Chile, since 1992. Is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and the Chilean Institute of Trade Law. Languages: Spanish, German and English.
