Jonathan Asarch serves as a trusted counselor who collaborates with clients to achieve meaningful results.JJ’s professional background includes experiences both in private practice and in-house (serving as General Counsel) at private and public companies. He has worked in both entrepreneurial and established settings. His experience as an operator provides him with a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing business owners, principals, and in-house counsel. JJ focuses his practice on corporate, private equity, strategic, and financial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures while also representing clients in connection with general corporate matters. He regularly serves as outside general counsel and strategic advisor to clients. His experience spans numerous industries, including healthcare, real estate, resort management/hospitality, technology, telecom, financial services, manufacturing, transportation, and agribusiness. He has substantial experience in both the healthcare and commercial real estate sectors, having worked in-house at two healthcare companies and at a sponsor of public non-traded REITs. JJ is part of the Benesch Healthcare+ practice, representing healthcare and wellness organizations and providers in connection with healthcare transactions, regulatory & compliance matters, and operational and related matters. JJ also works closely with the firm’s Real Estate practice group, and he has extensive experience representing public non-traded REITs and other real estate ventures in connection with acquisitions/dispositions and asset management, leasing, property management, joint venture, and corporate matters.
