Gregg Eisenberg has served as Benesch’s Managing Partner since 2015. Under his leadership, Benesch has experienced substantial growth, opened offices in Chicago and San Francisco, and advanced 36 places on the Am Law 200 list where the firm is currently ranked at number 155. Gregg is a corporate attorney whose active practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as public and private debt and equity financings. He represents both publicly and privately held companies at various stages of growth. He has been involved in planning for growth companies, helping to position them for various stages of private financing and anticipated public offerings. Gregg also represents private equity, subordinated debt and venture funds as well as portfolio companies of such funds. Gregg frequently represents clients abroad in their international expansion efforts. Gregg works with clients on complex international joint venture, supply chain and distribution agreements as well as complex mergers and acquisitions. In 2010, Gregg was chosen as one of 40 distinguished individuals under the age of 40 to be recognized with the M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Award. This award honored the top 40 M&A professionals in the country under 40 years of age. The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, designed this award to promote mentorship and professional development amongst emerging business leaders. Gregg is frequently asked to serve as a member of the board of directors of his clients and currently sits on the board of multiple private companies including Leaf Home Solutions, Kaulig Capital, MediQuant, RevAir, Alliance Staffing Solutions, and Lighthouse Insurance Group.
