Walter Pitt, Jr. (known as "Wrennie") has practiced law in Winston-Salem for more than 40 years. He is a founding member of Bell, Davis & Pitt, along with Frank Bell and Bill Davis. Wrennie’s practice concentrates on the representation of banks and financial institutions. He has significant experience assisting lenders of all sizes in the preparation of loan forms, loan documentation, and financing and collection of commercial loans. He has considerable experience with loan restructures, workouts and bankruptcies. Believing that service to the community is an important part of one’s duty as a lawyer, Wrennie has been involved in a number of community organizations such as the YMCA, SciWorks, the Housing Authority of the City of Winston Salem, and NC Bar Association Board of Govenors and Chair of the NC Bar Association Bankruptcy Section. Born and reared in Rocky Mount, Wrennie received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, and his law degree from Wake Forest University. He enjoys spending time at his farm in Stokes County with his family.
