Mike Phillips is a litigator, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, long-term care provider defense, employment claims, and land use matters. Prior to joining Bell, Davis & Pitt, Mike served as a law clerk for the Honorable George L. Wainwright, Jr. at the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Mike has handled a broad range of cases at the trial and appellate levels in North Carolina state and federal courts. Mike has a diverse litigation practice, including business disputes, commercial matters, defense of long-term care providers, employment claims, and land use matters. Drawing upon his litigation experience, Mike frequently advises long-term care providers in various aspects of risk management, provides staff and management training, and speaks at seminars on long-term care liability issues. Mike is a member of the Local Advisory Council for the Winston-Salem Office of the Legal Aid of North Carolina. He also serves as a board member of the Northwest Forsyth American Little League.
