In addition, she received a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2010 and was admitted to the Illinois bar in November 2010. Throughout law school, Lindsay clerked at various domestic relations firms in the loop, including Beermann Law, and for Chicago-Kent’s distinguished Family Law Clinic. Before joining the firm, Lindsay was an associate attorney at a boutique family law practice. Lindsay was named a Rising Star in the area of Family Law by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2015, a designation reserved for the top 2.5% of all Illinois attorneys under 40. Dedicated to public service and being an active member of the legal community, Lindsay serves on the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Executive Council as a Director. From 2012-2015, she served the board as a Special Project Coordinator. In June 2015, she received the CBA’s Rising Star Award for a YLS Leader with Exceptional Promise. Lindsay provides pro bono representation to minor children in contested domestic relations cases (divorce and parentage) as a Child Representative through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Additionally, she participates in Chicago-Kent’s Society of Women in Law Mentors Program as an alumna mentor to female students. Outside of the legal community, Lindsay sits on the Special Olympics Illinois Leaders Council and is the Co-Chair of the Downtown Division of NA’AMAT USA’s Greater Chicago Council.
