Brad Honeycutt is a Partner in Baker Botts' Corporate Department. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and complex energy transactions, including representing private equity sponsors and management teams in acquisitions and divestitures of upstream and midstream oil and gas assets, joint venture transactions, and alternative oil and gas financings. His transactional experience also includes advising clients in connection with restructuring and reorganization transactions involving oil and gas assets. Prior to joining Baker Botts, he served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a large oil and gas private equity portfolio company, where he was a founding member of the management team responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing oil and gas asset and corporate transactions in addition to serving as the lead in-house legal counsel. Most recently, he practiced in the Houston office of another global law firm. Brad understands the strategic and day-to-day business and legal issues that customarily arise in the oil and gas space.
