With over 15 years' experience as a corporate lawyer, Nigel is a trusted adviser to leading financial institutions, sponsors and investors (particularly funds) on private M&A and equity investments. He advises across a variety of industries, but with a particular emphasis in the infrastructure, energy and financial institutions sectors. In this context, Nigel Deed has particular expertise in advising on issues arising in connection with consortium bids and ongoing joint venture arrangements. He also has significant experience in acting for major financial institutions in strategic acquisitions or disposals of business units and in the acquisition or disposal of financing portfolios. Having been based in London for several years, Nigel has significant cross-border experience and is familiar with deal structures and issues that arise in major global transactions. He has been involved in transactions in most parts of the world including Australia, the UK, the USA, Canada and many Asian, European and African countries.
