Nik Patel is one of the founding partners of Amis, Patel & Brewer, LLP. Together with several longstanding colleagues, Mr. Patel founded APB in the belief that a boutique firm, focused on the renewable energy and sustainability sectors with an emphasis on client service by senior practitioners, could offer the superior value proposition in this sector. Mr. Patel has spent the past twenty plus years counseling clients on infrastructure and project development and finance. For the past 15 years, Mr. Patel’s practice has been focused on domestic and international clean energy and sustainability projects, including (most recently) the acquisition, development and financing of several of the largest solar and wind energy facilities constructed in the United States. Advising primarily developers, his practice has covered all phases of the development, construction and financing of sustainability projects. Representative technologies include solar, wind, biomass, wood pellet, small and utility scale combined cycle gas generation, waste to energy, clean waste disposal and hydropower. While primarily focusing on domestic projects, Mr. Patel has assisted clients in projects around the globe, including Southeast Asia, Western and Southern Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. He has consistently received a top ranking from Chambers Global for his renewable energy and sustainability work.
