Peter Leidel Bio

Peter co-founded Yorktown. From 1983 to 1997, he was a partner in the venture capital group of Dillon, Read & Co. and invested in a variety of private companies with a particular focus on energy investments. He was previously in corporate treasury positions at Mobil Corporation (1980-83) and worked for KPMG Peat Marwick and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Peter is a director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, Ramaco Resources, Inc. and several private energy companies. Peter received a BBA with honors from the University of Wisconsin and MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a certified public accountant.
