Erin Murphy Bio

Erin Murphy joined Wynnchurch in 2010. Previously, she was Chief Risk Officer of Quinten Road Fund, a Chicago-based junior capital firm focused on investments in middle-market-sponsored transactions. Additionally, over the course of a 13-year career at GE Capital, Erin held a variety of risk management and leadership positions, including Senior Vice President in the Global Sponsor Finance Group, and had responsibility for loan portfolios of up to $2 billion. She attained Six Sigma Black Belt certification during her tenure at GE Capital. Erin has more than 25 years of investment experience, including investing across all parts of the capital structure, and significant underwriting, portfolio management, fund management and restructuring experience.
